Does debt settlement reflect badly with creditors? Also, will this automatically close my account with the creditor? thanks!

do you mean look bad to other creditors? alot of times cc companies once you default on one card will do what they call a universal code were they will raise your rate. if thats what you are talking about. also it will stick on your report for awhile as settled or satisfied for future creditors. and yes it will automaticly close your account

It doesn't reflect well and if you have other cards it will affect not only those rates and credit limit, but also your credit score. However settlement is a great option if you happen to find yourself in a rut and can't get out - credit score is resilient and will always bounce back.
