Someone called me from a collection agency stating that I owed CMG $510 and needed to pay immediately or they would garnish my wages. I left a similar message to the CMG message board.

I do not know if this is a scam - since this happed one month ago for $1,900.

I do not know if I owe CMG Group anthing. I do not have a clear memory.

The collection agency can't garnish your wage without securing judgment from the court. Don't get scared. Send a debt validation letter in writing to them. If they can't send you the DV letter, then send a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail to the collection agency.
