Question About Ranking Chart

I looked at the ranking chart for NJ & found that none of the companies are registered in NJ. Is that something to be concerned about? Or are the companies here all trust worthy?
I asked for a free consult from here & was directed to Federated Financial Counseling Services, Corp in Florida (I live in NJ). They are registered w/ BBB but have about 22 complaints-all of which were settled with the people who submitted the complaints.

You can call your states department of financial institutions an
You can call your states department of financial institutions and ask them to mail you a list of companies that are licensed in your state. They are more than happy to do that for you. (I did) Then when you get the list you can look up the companies and see how they are doing business. You can even call the DFI back and see if any of them have complaints filed against them in your state.
