Hi all-

I am a 33 year old with minimal experience with credit and general debt. we have been for the most part pretty responsible until......

my wife and I have just had our 2nd child. Due to her pregnancy leave, our bills (house hold, credit card, insurance premium for hospital stay, as well as a emergency room visit before i had insurance at work).

currently my credit card bills are around $2500
house hold bills around $800
Emergency room/hospital stay around $3000

I am sick with worry on how i can make this better.

my question is "should or could i consolidate these bills with a reputable company".

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

scared to death

Ah, don't be so much worried of your debts. It will not always remain the same. You can consolidate everything under one payment. Talk to a counselor in your area and he will work out a plan with your creditors. Since all the debts you have are unsecured, you won't have any problems in getting started. See the options here and discuss with your consultant.
