Harassing Phone Calls

I continue to get harassing phone calls for someone that must have had my phone number prior to me getting it. I have asked them repeatly it please stop calling me. "Terry" insists that I am the person they are calling almost to say I am lieing. I am a busy real estate agent and do not need this harassment. How can I stop them from calling?

A lot of collection agencies often harass consumers in this manner. Next time, they call you again, tell them you're not the person they are trying to reach. If they don't believe you, then hang up the phone. You can also ask their address. Thereafter, send a Cease and Desist letter in writing to them.
