Complaint Description:
I was called in March of 2012 by a man I believe his name was Balenting Alvarez from Green Financial Services asking me about my credit card Debt and how Green Financial Services would have my debt forgiven due to credit card companies violations, I was told not to pay my creditor to which I didnt pay Discover credit card due to my financial hardship I was convinced to enroll I do have the contract that was fiven to me. One of my Discover Cards was charged 1,750.00 I was told this was a retainer fee and 7 payments of 277.47 from my checkings account making it a total of 3692.29 its been about 9 months now and my debt with Discover has not been Forgiven or Eliminated my credit continues to suffer showing DelinquentBad-Debt I continue calling Consumer Law and im being told to wait and continue sending them by email or fax my call-log of the times and dates my creditors call I have complied with Consumer Law Council and they continue to do nothing for me I feel I have been SCAMMED losing 3692.29 from me while my debt continues. Please help me to either recover my money or to have Consumer Law Council deliver what they promised per there contract agreement, they cannot take thousands of dollars from people basically promissing to help them with there debt and now Im in more debt because of this. Please Help.

Either they eliminate my debt with Discover like I was told or Consumer Law Council is to refund me back my money as 3692.29 has been paid to them that is a lot of money to lose.

You have been scammed big time. This is why we advice consumers to settle debts on their own. I have a doubt if you'll get a refund. Register a complaint with the FTC.
CLC is a Scam company
I've been scammed too. CLC is a scam company. I am a Notary Public. They called me and hired me. I told them my fee. They asked me to print out documents and take them to be signed by the client. I also notarized them. They told me to fax them and then put them in the mail at my own expense. I faxed them from UPS. It cost me
$!5.00. When I ask for my money, they hang up on me. I don't know if I will ever get it.
You have been scammed
Asking you to make monthly payments and asking for a $1750 retainer should of been a red flag. Unfortunately your money is gone with the wind.

got this email from them saying i owe 980 from this place and they want me to pay in one day i never took a loan out from them and i have for the name they say i owe it to and they did not give me a namei never even got a letter in the mail i did get phone call and when i called it back was told wrong name now i got this email

So sorry to hear that you got scammed. Do make sure you get your complaints filed! I hate to say this, but the odds of getting any money that you paid back is pretty much slim to none. The website you are showing is for this community, which does not ask for money or tell anyone they owe money to them. This is community is here to help people and for people to share their knowledge of how to get out of debt. They do not offer loans or accept payments. I wish you luck in getting this taken care of.
