I am in Michigan and I have defaulted on 3 internet payday loans. I have overpaid them in interest and fees and I need to contact my Attorney General but I do not know to proceed with this. What do I say to them? What information do I need to provide? Please help

Go to the attorney general website of your state and fill up the complaint form. Usually, they send you an email within few days and discuss about your situation personally before contacting the lenders against whom you have filed complaints. Follow the links below.

The info they usually ask for is a copy of the contract and any correspondence you have from the payday loan company. Just put a summary of your complaint on the form and you can usually fax, email, or mail the other supporting documents they may need.

But if you don't have that all don't worry. They will usually tell you what they need if you don't provide it.
