Bundle TV, Phone, Internet falure to install all 3 so cancelled.

:evil:I contracted with a satilite tv company with thier bundle offer. They install dish, but after 4 no shows for the internet and phone I cancelled and returned dish equitment. The dish company is putting me into collection for a $20.00 per month for 24 months of no service and has sent me to a collection agency. What are my options so that it does not affect my credit score? HELP.


Yes, it is a Directv satilite server. I waited 4 seperate days without a phone call and when I called they said they would have to reschedual. I have sent out 11 pages of emails that confirmed each appointment and still they believe I should pay them for a penilty of 20. 00 per month. HELP!!!!!!!

Definately dispute the validity of the debt with the collection agency. Direct TV did not fufill your contract agreement. Send in the copies of the emails and a copy of your contract with your dispute letter. All you owe is for 4 months of Direct TV and even that should be prorated. Did you talk to Direct TV about the cancellation????

Thanks, I knew that what I did to give them extra time and appointments was beyond the norm. I did call and wrote them about the cancellation but they still insisted that I had to pay their penilties. I hope that they can not go to the credit bureau and put in for non payment. Also, is there any recource if they do? I have great credit and would be very upset. Can I sue them for damages to my home that occured when they installed thier system? Thanks again for any help.
