I've been trying to look around this site....a bit overwhelming, I do say. I would like some advice on how to 'take control' of my debt. I do have alot of unsecured debt. I've had several debt consolidation places call me, but, they want such a high fee for the services. Any advice on who to use?

Was it a consolidation plan or debt settlement plan? The overall payment in the consolidation plan is a little higher from debt settlement.
