Need Help with my credit

I have been having bad credit for years because when I had my first credit card I was young and didn't know the facts about credit. I couldn't pay for my bills cause I lost my job. Now, I don't know what to do to get my credit score up again. I need your help, please.

Welcome to the Community :D The first thing I would do is, pull all 3 credit reports, you are entitled to a free one each year. You can see if there are errors or something that needs to be taken care of. You can dispute any errors with the credit agency. Do you have collection agencies contacting you for the old cards, and how old are these debts? Keep us posted on your progress..KAren
