We have a ton of credit card debt that is very deliquent. We went with a debt consolidation company back in 2007 which is no longer in business... We have now settled 4 accounts and have sold everything we can sell and borrowed everything we can borrow... We have just offered the next company $2000 on a $6000 bill... they want the full amount or a payment of $4500 we just don't have it... Should we hold our ground on the $2000 or do we need to find other options...
Helpme .... I would say yes, hold your ground .... you are talk
Helpme ....
I would say yes, hold your ground .... you are talking about a 2-3 year old debt ... if they have not done anything, they just might not do anything .... you have nothing to lose...... stay firm at 2000 and tell them this is the best you can do ....
have you talked to an attorney about Chapt 7 bk ? If so tell them that .... it might work in your favor in a good settlement ....
you might even be close to SOL on some of these cards ... keep that in mind ...
