If i have been late several times on my payment & have tried thru credit consolidaters to work with the mortgage company to lower my payments until im caught up on all bills and they refuse, can they foreclose? I cannot ever talj out payment arrangements with them as they talk horrible things to my husband & I about how we should be ashamed , they demand to know if i have a 401 k savings plan , how much do i make howmany kids i have , i should still be able to afford payment, etc... I tell them when im late & calls still pour in.

Mortgages should never be included in consolidation loan programs. Mortgages are secured accounts and the payments are never lowered unless you officially modify your loan. If you are late/missed payments they most certainly CAN forclose on you.

If you have that much in bills that it is affecting your ability to pay your mortgage, you should be looking at filing bankrutpcy.
