Can creditors see money in your accounts?

We are saving, saving saving for settlements. We have just missed 5 credit card payments. We have a few thousand saved. However, I am going to open an account in my name so we can be ready to settle and just use that account. My question is when and if they pull credit can the creditors see the balance of your accounts? I don't want them to know how much we have saved. Also my name is on my children's savings accounts (one daughter is 18 now) will they see those accounts? I have only seen my husband's credit report and none of these accounts show up, but he isn't on any of these accounts.


if you bank with B of A and owe on a B of A credit card Ive had clients bring me stories of them going and taking the money out of your account, chase has been known to do this also, we advise our clients to change banks if this is a factor. so to answer your question i would assume they can somehow if you bank with the same people you owe.

Thanks. All good info. Fortunately, we do not have any cards that are with the same as our checking/saving accounts. So far we are going this alone, but if ever in a pinch RIOT I will give you a call. But so far this board is amazing with info. Thanks SOAPLADY as well as others... pressing on!! :>

too tell you the truth Luckin,

the company i am opening up isnt going to be up and running for a few months and im offering free debt help to people that need help on what to do. i not trying to get you to go with me.

in this day and age people arent helping each other, everybody has less money and prices go up? people are taking advantage of people in need and its a mess, people in the U.S. need to come together and help each other instead of everyone out for their own to screw someone.
