I recently canceled my account with credit solutions because i was very unhappy with their service.I was enrolled in the program for about 5 to 7 months. They did settle 2 out of 9 accounts i had enrolled with them. I sold one of my cars to help me get out of debt faster. With that money i decided to settle my remaining debt on my own. Once i tried to remove the accounts out of the program due to myself doing all the work. Credit solutions did not remove them at 100%. What they tried doing was removing the cards at 55% making me pay 45% of the fee to them. It took me 2 to 3 months of more then a dozen calls to have 910.00 refunded to me for over payment. I left one card in the program with a high balance. Once I saved about $4,000.00 to make an offer on my last card. I called Credit solutions to see if they could make an offer. At that point my Chase card had fallen at the hands of a law office. Credit solutions called me and told me that the law office would accept 60% of my bedt witch comes out to be 11 thousand and change. So instead of using credit solutions to settle the chase account. I decided to call the law office to see if i could get a better offer. I was able to close an offer of 50% witch came out to be 9 thousand and change.I called credit solutions to have my last account removed since i did not use them to close the offer. This way i would not have to pay the fee to CS of the 15% of the debt on the card. Credit solutions once again tried removing the card at a lower percet the what i had already paid. Once again i had to make numerous calls to have the refund me the full 100% witch i had already paid CS. After 6 to 8 calls i gave up and had them refund me about 1500 out of the 2000 they owed me. This company is out to take advantage of people that are in real need of financial help. They do not specify under their contract that once they make an attempt to try to settle an account. That they are allowed to remove an account at a percentage. And if there is such a thing. Why don't they disclose it when we sign the contract. All they tell you is because of the lenght of time you been enrolled is what they go by. I asked to see that chart and they can not produce it. They claim that they do work on your behalf. So I asked what was the value for sending a letter and making a phone call to creditors. No one has an answer for you. So now i lost $500 when i did all the work. If there was any class action lawsuites I would love to be a part of it. Other family members has had the same problems. Don't know if its to late to get help.

Thank you for the info. I contacted them and this is what they sent me by email.

There is nothing you need to do to be part of the class action. Once the court certifies the case as a class action, everyone who paid fees to CSA will be included and a notice will be sent to you. The case seeks a refund of all fees paid to CSA by its customers. It will be 3 to 6 months before the case is certified as a class action. We will keep your information on file and will contact you if we need any additional information.
