Warrant for Debt

Is there a court date, and have you confirmed with the court house this is true?

If there is a response date, be sure and respon by that date. Have you sent a debt validation letter to the company?

What ever you do, show up in court, or they will get a default judgemet. Usually what happens, the judge looks at evidence from both sides, and if it's all legit- works out a payment plan with you.If you feel that this would cause a financial hardship, you can file that in your answer- bring the papers to back you up on this..Good Luck-let us know what happens.. Karen-let me clarify- the judge doesn't work out a payment plan with you- they set up a payment plan that is fair

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm working with a legit debt settlement company and I'm hoping they can settle out of court. I would do anything not to have to go, but I know I have to. It looked like an official document I got in the mail so I am assuming that it is a true date. What is a debt validation letter?
