I am in way over my head. Even thinking stupid thoughts because of it. Had surgery and my income was cut in half and now I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. Before I talk to someone on the phone here, do I need to keep statements for all my stuff? This is my last chance at doing anything. Any ideas or suggestions will help. Thanks.

Ok, that's better. First off, I would call your creditors and explain that you've had surgery and your income has been halved. Ask if they have any programs for someone in your situation. A lot of places do. Your interest will probably still accrue on the debt, but possibly they would let you slide with even less than a minimum payment for a few months.
Another way you could go is debt consolidation. This is where you go to a company, list all of your creditors, along with your balances, and they work with them and with you. You send them one payment and the DCC company sends it to your creditors. That might be an option.
Let us know how things turn out!

Justme. We've all been in your situation. We want you to know that we are here to help. Since you've registered, you will be contacted by a debt counselor who will be able to discuss your situation in depth and point you in a direction. Right now it's the weekend, so be patient and you will be contacted. In the meantime, look through the various threads forums on this site. You'll probably find other situations similar to yours and find some helpful suggestions on how to handle your situation.
