This was the title of the list of bills I just wrote down. I have spent over 1/4 of a miilion dollars in the past ten years on "stuff". That money came from various sources (car accidents, etc.) and as of right now I am about $75,000 in debt (car loan, students laons etc. ) The problem, however, is with my credit card debt which is about $30,000. Mind you, my credit report appears to be impeccable- never a late payment. But I don't make enough at work to pay my bills, so after depleting my savings to supplement my income, I am looking for a solution. To make it worse, I worked on getting my degree for the past decade, I have found my dream job, but it's in NJ (expensive!!!) I am a single mother and honestly I don't know what to do!!!!!!

Hello sescobar79,

Welcome to our community. Befere everything else, put your nose up and stop looking at the floor! There is a solution for your problem and if you do it right, you will be just fine.

Your next step is to sit down, open up Excel and create a new file. Write down all your creditors, your balances, minimum payments. Call them up and find out what your APRs are. Than list all your expenses vs your income. See if you are actually spending more that you are making. If you are spending mora than what you make, it is not going to work. You need to reduce your spening.

Your next step is to look at the right side of this website and call the 1800 number. Get a free consultation, see how they can help you.

If you have any question, doubts, post them here.

Good luck! :)
