I am being sued by Capital One and received a Rules of Discovery document. Can someone tell me what this is and what I do with it?


In short, Yes if ordered by the court or if allowable under the court rules in the state where you live. The correct discovery tool for your request would be a: Request to Produce...Other methods of discovery are: interrogatories (written questions) and Request for Admissions, those are the cheap ones and of course there are also depositions, they just cost more...

Yes, I did read it, but I don't understand what they are asking of me. It's all a jumble to me. They want me to list each person, event, or whatever for every question they ask. I just wanted to know if anyone has had to do this, and how they went about it. I don't want to mess it up and have them win by default.
