Don'y owe debt

I haven't had a Captital credit cad ever or any credit card since 1996. I got a letter from First National Collection Bureau, Inc, stating I owe them 1,728.57. What can I do about it?

As Soaplady has said, you should validate the debt. I'm sure they won't be able to validate it. Then, you can directly send them a cease and desist letter mentioning the fact that you never had a card from Capital Credit and ask them to stop contacting you any further.
