i am a college student and i had a job and was able to pay all my bills until i got pregnant! with my pregnancy i became sick and was unable to manage all my bills! now they are adding up and being sent to collection agencies and i would like to be able to have good credit again, so i could have the best for me and my daughter!

You need to talk to your creditors and explain your situation before they have sent your file to the collection agency. Draft a proposal letter and make small payments as you have mentioned in the plan. Write the first check and send it along the proposal letter. If they cash the check, it means that they are willing to work on your terms. Send the letter through certified mail, return receipt requested for having proof and keep a copy documented in your file.
