Can anyone recommend a debt settlement company for new jersey that they have used and is legit?
New Jersey is a tough state for settlement companies to work in.
New Jersey is a tough state for settlement companies to work in. They only companies that can legally perform debt settlement services in that state is a Law Firm licensed to practice law in the state of NJ. Any company caught trying to perform debt settlement services in NJ not meeting those requirements will be fined 50k by the state of NJ. The only company law firm I know of that works NJ is a network of attorneys called Johnson Law Group . Their HQ is in NV and have a satisfactory record with the BBB . You may just want to look in your phone book for local lawyers in your state that perform debt settlement services.
