I am gathering Princeton Harris PD6Ventures/express cash - The loan shop is M1YDirect? I received an e-mail of refusal to apy from PD6Ventures/express cash I e-mailed them back asking who they were and/or who they represent and they said M1Ydirect is this a collection agency or is this just the company under a different name? I did e-mail, fax and mail them a letter which they just ignored and now they are sending threatning e-mails should I send them a debt varification letter? I have paid them way too much money already and they still try taking money out of my account even when I sent them a letter revoking authorization - Any suggestions I will most likely need to answer them.

under the new fair debt laws the collection activity can continue while they are validating. this is a sure sign that the country is no longer going to put up with people taking out loans and then trying to claim that they are illegal. read the documents and know your law BEFORE you take the money and run. Oh, and by the way, what do you say about the people that take out the loans to pay their bankruptcy lawyers fees and NEVER PAY ONE RED CENT? Tell me how that works? IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE!

lol drowing. You have to wonder, don't you? "Guest" seems to have a personal vendetta against someone.

And Guest - no one is claiming ignorance of the law - except the PDL companies that are trying to bleed everyone dry. Again - no one disputes that collection can continue when validation is done - but the PDL's flat out refuse to validate the debt in writing - so your point that collection can continue while validation is done is kind of moot.

We are simply trying to make the PDL's work legally - not the way they are now. Your angry outburst only validates the fact that you work for one. Storefront PDL's mostly operate within the laws of the state they are located in, and internet PDL's do not. The internet PDL's are the ones we're really after.

Not trying to start a fight here, with Guest or anyone else. Just trying to clarify the point that I was trying to make - we are aware that collection activity can continue while the company provides debt validation in writing, but many of these lenders will not even provide the validation requested.

That's the point I was trying to make. I wasn't disputing that collection can continue during validation.

Well, it is true, I think this is the same guest who is posting in another thread with alot of legal jargan. And that is OK, this is a public forum and I am NOT slandering the guest, it seems that is what we are getting accused of when we post our experiences and opinions in regards to our past experiences.

sure thing, why don't you kyside and brownsugar come on out and give us your full names as well. then we will see who is hiding.

if i were to "register" it only gives you an opportunity to ask me for point donations. that is something i won't do.

ever notice when you search for payday loans on this site how there is a google ad that pops up on the screen for you to take one out. guess Vikas has to pay the bills somehow.

Be sure not to slander anyone, we are watching!
ever notice when you search for payday loans on this site how there is a google ad that pops up on the screen for you to take one out. guess Vikas has to pay the bills somehow.
Google is displaying the ads of the companies they took the money for. The automated software of google is showing their ads because the term "payday loans" is coming here largely. The software didn't recognize this website if it's against payday loans or in support.

How can this website be held accountable for something google is doing? Sorry, we don't run the internet and we are not a search engine. We have a limited space in the internet and doing what is right. You will be happy to know that most people find this website helpful.

Regards
Mike

I think the payday ads popping up has been explained a few times in the past. And this site has been an excellent source for myself, I came here to get info. on dealing with my pdls, and I have learned much more on how to improve my credit, and met some really great people here! :D Just ignore the ads, it isn't difficult to do, and the site has no control over them.

I get weird emails from this guys my bank account I had to shut down due to fradulant activity this idiot calls me a liar and tells me I owe him 360.00 I have never heard of his company "Platinum 8" my bank told me not to pay these guys and let it hit my credit then I could file a affidavit of fraud to the Credit agency with a letter from my bank that shows 1700.00 in deposits in one day and 2500.00 in withdrawls is this true or should i just pay the guys and move on on a lighter note he threatened to take me to court for shutting down my bank account. Who is this guy and does anyone know if they are fraudulant or not.

Welcome to the forums. I would follow your vbanks advice. If you have not heard of them they should not be hitting your account. File a fraud report. They can not take you to jail. KYSIDE38

I appreciate whomever started this site. It has helped me tremendously with dealing with the payday loan companies.
My question is, how do I receive information about stopping them from coming back into my account again after I blocked them through my bank already. They are coming in under a different name, now. HELP!

I borrowed $2000 from dms/xpresscash since September 2005 and they took from me so far $5100. I sent them an email letter asking to mark my account PIF and for a refund otherwise I would contact the AG of New Jersey. I asked them for a refund for $3100 and they emailed me a PIF document and Rachel Cooper 1-800-757-0122 ext. 353 called me within 24 hours asking to settle now for $500 and send me my funds in 24 to 72 hours if I sign a release document. I said no way. She said that i took out 10 loans with them over the past year and the past is the past. She marked my two recent loans with them as PIF. I said I was willing to settle for $1500 and she said she will take it back to the board of directors and discuss matters further. She also said that her company does not need to follow the laws of NJ only DE where they are located. If I had a problem in the past I should have not taken out more loans. I said if I contact the AG I will probably get my full $3100 and she said that the only thing the AG will do is act as a mediator but does not have the final say on how much needs to be paid. I feel like I am losing the battle. Do I take the $500 and move on or hold out for more. what do I do?

Hi everyone. I want to thank everyone for their hard work researching and supplying information for this forum. I have had PDL difficulties as well. I've managed to settle and pay many of them off.
However, after I reviewed this site, I emailed one of the last collectors and asked for a written validation of debt, what bank was licensed in my state, and what interest rates were applied. I was immediately emailed back with a "you got all of this when you applied" response and then a form that I am to sign and get notarized for them to release information. I emailed them back that none of the information I had asked for was personal, so I didn't need a notary to sign. I mentioned that I had contacted my state's AG and they were interested in the situation and also wanted me to call my state's Dep't of Banking. They haven't emailed me back as quickly this time. I'll keep the forum posted as to how this works out.
