Hi Melly is it legal for someone at world financial to call you using profane language? I got a phone call threatening me that someone from world financial would be taking me to court. I called the person back and they belittled me with their aggressive language stating that I had to pay by phone and had no other options. The person refused to give me supervisor information and told me to call their extension in order to contact supervisor I demanded to speak to someone and they eventually passed me to someone who was supposedly a supervisor and then said I was refusing to pay the money owed after I had paid part of it off via phone because I wanted to speak to a supervisor? Is this legal? Or is it whats expected since I've never had to deal with a debt collector. Thank you.

It is quite possible that world financial would take you to court....there is nothing illegal about being agressive or rude...you are not a customer so do not expect customer service. Do you owe the debt?
