Dear unregistered guest....do yourself a favor and negotiate directly with the credit card you have the debt - that is the best advise I can now offer.....cannot trust any of these companies. I dealt directly with another company that bought one of the debts I had with chase credit card and in five months - the debt was paid off - they toof off more than half of what I owed, send the receipt and cleared the report with the credit agencies....this one pending, Allegro was to pay to Sears cc - did not happen, will not happen

SERIOUSLY? - You will be the ONLY one that is getting their debt paid for...none of us, that is why we are here moaning and complaining, cause we want to figure out how to recover the monies taken by Allegro
Paperwork sent to receivership on September 23rd., 2009
Hi Rix - I sent all of the receipts and stuff to the Receiver since Set 23, 2009 and nothing - you have seen the email response I got from that Louis Colley guy. Will send this again, who knows, ha?

Called Louis Colley's office 334.365.1500 - lady on the phone said that IT IS not necessary to fax paperwork at this time - no news, nothing happening. I did send this paperwork back on Sep 2009 - it will be a resend of the same, as we became aware of the receivership, courts and so forth with Allegro - FYI
i have thought long and hard as to what i would like to see done
i have thought long and hard as to what i would like to see done along with what i would think yous would like done. ok so hear me out. sure we all would like to have our money back so have thoes who invested several thousands of dollers in this joke of a company. yes the money that we all invested would be wonderful but i am thinking of would be so much better, instead of ues getting our money back i think they should have to pay our debts that we intrusted them to take care of along with erasing our credit as tho we never signed with thoes companies. just think a bout it for a minute, thoes who have invested a nice chunk of money could have possable pay a card or 2 off with that money, make it 2 cards less then u had.
i am sorry but the seized somethink like 12 million in company assets but that doesent include what was not accounted for. could be money in accounts all over the word, there house (i am sure its worth a pretty penny) and what not. how sick does it make u when we sit back and think of what our money went for.. paying the pool boy or paper boy, gardner, maid, personal clothes consultant, brand new bmw that i am sure most of us would like to have.
now after reading and thinking about all of that, does it seam fair that they are walking the streets with a slap on the had for right now while all of us try to get a grip on what happened, knowing that we r in the red now more then ever, wondering if there is an answer or help in sight.
I was a little iffy in the beginning about the start up process
I was a little iffy in the beginning about the start up process requesting all your info before beginning your paperwork but I went through with it anyway. I have been with them for a 1.5 years and have been please with the services they have provided. All creditors reduced the interest and have come to an agreeable monthly amount that I am able to manage. When I have come across extra money, around tax time, they have allowed me to take a creditor off of the program and settle with the creditor when possible. I would recommend them, I haven't had any problems. Hope this help someone.

Per Rix suggestion (awesome posting Rix) I called Mary M. Mary is an awesome person – very compassionate and understanding and realistic and honest – all amazing qualities. No, that doesn’t help you get your money back. At this point if you expect your money back – you’re not being realistic. We’re talking about ~$12M divided by about 15,000 clients (victims). That equates to about $800/person. What affects that more - if Mr. Colley (which incidentally wasn't helpful at all) gets more and more calls, etc… he may need to add more resources? Those resources will eat up that money. Yes this sucks. If I knew then what I know now… but does it matter at this point – NO. It’s now about JUSTICE (for me at least). As I see it I never stopped paying toward my debt. Thought I was doing the right thing for all. Now, the company I owed the original debt to is suing me. What are my options? Well, I can’t rely on the legal system or the person in charge of the permanent receivership. I have to take the matters in my own hands at this time.
This is just my interpretation and not personal or legal advice!!! It’s just what I’m doing…
Bottom line: IMHO - We’re on our own. I’ve contacted a lawyer to assist me in my personal case (being sued). Other than that…
What I did was STOP payment of the money being pulled out on a monthly basis (the dirty buggers are still trying to get my money).
Sent a CERTIFIED LETTER to Louis Colley to state I want out of the program. I also am requesting a refund. My money should be sent to (address). (Sure I may not get a refund...)
Something else to consider… If this is now at Bankruptcy then we should all receive notification. If you have any hope to recuperate any money then you will need to file a PROOF OF CLAIM (if/when receive notification).
IT SUCKS! Credit card companies victimize people with ridiculous rates, and then lawyers victimize us with legal fees. Then, jump ship and aren’t held to much accountability as they know the legal system and can tie this crap up in a legal system for quite some time. By that time we’ve all lost money and they walk away with little ramification. I am against government intervention – EXCEPT when people are victimized. The laws for Credit Card companies need to be fixed and interest rates should not be allowed to exceed a certain percentage rate (say 15% ish). Other things that need to happen… we need to realize what we’re getting into – personal accountability. However, life throws curve balls – things happen, sometimes good sometimes bad. There should be ways to be able to prove your case, then reach an agreement with CC Companies to where they roll your account over to a different kind of debt – one that you can no longer charge to but drops to a low interest rate and allowed to pay off at a more reasonable plan (similar to a simple interest car loan). Also, no debt settlement companies should be allowed to exist! Knowing now what I know – they are useless! Lawyers who manipulate the system and hire lower paid folks to serve as the points of contact – puppeteers pulling strings. Maybe the debt management type stuff is ok? That seems somewhat reasonable. But just thinking about the crap I was sold on – REDICULOUS – I feel like a complete idiot – what was I thinking, what kind of fairy tale would that be? Too late now.

If anyone is working with any group suing Allegro Law or anything similar, please include me. Email me at
I am going to any attorney next week. Have been served with 3 civil summons, and all creditors said they were never contacted by Allegro Law on my behalf, even though I mailed/faxed them MANY letters from creditors, etc. So it's not like they just didn't want to settle...these creditors were NEVER CONTACTED, period!
They have right around $20K between my husband and I in the last 18 months, and they've not settled a single credit card. Now I've got a police officer showing up at my house about once per week serving me with another civil summons.
I can't believe I fell for this. I asked SO many questions when I was talking to Rebecca McFarland (our representative) and she was so reassuring and told us that she's never had anyone whose debts were not settled successfully and that no one she'd ever represented had ever been sued. She claimed to have been working for Allegro Law for many years.
I don't know how the people who work for this company can sleep at night knowing they are lying and creating a ticking timebomb to ruin the lives of those they are claiming to help.
If anyone has had ANY luck with anything, or if anyone knows of any group of people submitting evidence for a suit against Allegro Law, PLEASE email me.
Thanks,
Elizabeth Sescilla

fuck allegro
Allegro law firm has proven to us to be the biggest scam ever. We were turned onto them by their frequent commercials on a right wing talk radio station. The biggest slam is the fact that Allegros commercials were most frequently aired during dave ramseys money management show. Allegro did NOTHING for us, but convince us to let all of our payments lapse while we sent money to them, to "save" until our debts got to the point of no return. After that, they were supposedly going to negotiate our debt settlements with the money we had been sending. It would've been nice if they had told us that they were in the midst of a major lawsuit, and were TOTAL fuck-ups before we started working with them. We have since cancelled our contract with them, and have been waiting for over 6 months now to be paid back the $2000 that they we paid to them to pay on our debts. We have now had to negotiate our own payback plans ourselves with our collectors.....many of which are lawyers now, due to allegros advice to just let everything lapse till they could take care of it. bottom line, DO NOT JOIN THIS SCAM!!

I am currently using Allegro Law Firm, I am suprised to see so many people with good things to say about them. I actually "finished" paying the program early, well that was a year ago and my debts still are not settled! Its so frustrating to call and talk to someone. One day I waited an hour and a half to speak with someone and all they did was give me the run around. Needless to say I would not recommend them to anyone. They have aweful communication, and customer service reps who are not trained well enough to help customers with questions. I really hope they step up and get my debts taken care of. Or is there anyway I can get my eskro back and pay my debts myself?

I have to bear the bad news, that I guess shouldn't surprise anyone who got suckered by Allegro Law. Posted 4-2-10 on the GetOutofDebt.org site (Steve Rhode is the get out of debt advice guy): darling crook of the century, Andy Nehlms, owner of Allegro Law, has now filed personal bankruptcy, listing Allegro Law as a personal asset. Louis Colley is now the FORMER receiver of Allegro Law!! The law is such that now the bankruptcy court is in charge. ALL ALLEGRO CLIENT ACCOUNTS ARE CLOSED!! This mother fucker has got to be Satan in disguise. He wasn't satisfied stealing money from thousands of desolate people, now he's doing his damndest to see that the courts can't give it back to the people who got royally screwed....he'd probably steal the shirt right off his mother's back! Someday, someone will fuck him back, twice as bad. You will burn in a slow and torturous manner to the death that should have come to you long ago.....forget the pearly gates and happiness asshole!

mona lisa I am so sorry to hear this. Allegro Law is over but the scam goes on. I was one on this site and thread to expose them. I did my best but they still got a few folks. This is very unfortunate.
I wonder if Nelms will get away? Are his assets still frozen?

Why isn't someone prosecuting this bum to get some jail time? So, he's filed bankruptcy....Big deal! Due to my disability, my wife and I were unable to keep up with our debts, so contacted this "Debt Consolidation" company to try and work things out with our creditors. $26,000 later paid to this crook, we're in worse financial shape than we were at the outset. Stupid? Yes, you could certainly call us stupid. No doubt, we'll have years, probably the rest that I have left, trying to catch up with our debts. We weren't trying to avoid the debts, just stretch them out so we could pay up honorably. Now we're bums, trying to get a free ride. It makes me sick that no one will criminally prosecute Keith Anderson Nelms and any others who aided him in this treachery. It seems like if you're a lawyer, nobody with the power (others with a legal background) is interested in sending you to jail. I'm sure that if I had ripped someone off for $26,000, I'd be in the pokey right now, trying to look unappealing to some drooling moron who thinks I have a "purty mouth". It's time the government does more to these con artists than take away their vacation homes and penthouse suites. Thanks for letting me let off a little steam. I didn't use any bad words, although I've plenty of them in mind.

Hey quick question. I joined the Achievable which used Allegro to negotiate lower interest rates only. I paid each month money, but they paid the credit card companies each month. Sometimes late, but nonetheless, they always paid. Now I need to get the automatic withdrawal from my checking account stopped(luckily one has not been taken from my account this month). Anyone know anyway to get in touch with anyone who can stop this automatic withdrawal?

4/5/2010 - Bankruptcy Statement
Keith Anderson Nelms, owner of Allegro Law, LLC, has filed for bankruptcy in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama. As a result of Nelms listing Allegro Law, LLC as a solely owned asset of his bankruptcy estate, the Bankruptcy Court has determined that Allegro Law, LLC should be placed under the jurisdiction of the Bankruptcy Court and that has been done in Bankruptcy Case No. 10-30630 in the Middle District of Alabama. This was done over the objection of the Attorney General, Securities Commission and Court Appointed Receiver. There will be no further debt management payments nor debt settlement action taken. All customers of Allegro Law, LLC should have all draws from their accounts stopped and no further payments should be sent. All assets held by and claims against Allegro Law, LLC are to be administered pursuant to the United States Bankruptcy Code and distributed according to Title 11, U. S. Code. Notification to all potential claimants of Allegro Law, LLC will be provided by mail and they will be entitled to file a claim in this case. The receiver has no authority in the bankruptcy and no correspondence or contact should be directed to receiver.
DO NOT CONTACT THE RECEIVER. HE DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO RESPOND ON BEHALF OF ALLEGRO LAW, LLC ANY LONGER.
Come on now, I know you're angry but you really need to watch your language!

You'll never get ahold of anyone to "cancel your contract" and stop the auto withdrawals. Your bank will charge you a stop payment fee every month if you go that route. The only way is to close your bank account. I had to and I wasn't taking any chances....I even changed banks! The bankruptcy court in the district where Keith Asshole Nehlms filed bankruptcy has closed all client accounts that were involved with debt management and debt settlement. Allegro Law no longer exists. The thieving bastards in New York, Americorp, I think were the actual company making the automatic withdrawals on all of us suckers' bank accounts. The bankruptcy court of course has everything frozen as far as personal and business assets and that court will dispurse any funds obtained by the selling off of Nehlm's lovely home, vehicles and whatever else he bought with OUR money! He has so many other personal debts that it doesn't look good that any former Allegro clients will get any of the money back that he stole from us. He's got tax debts for a number of years that he didn't pay and the list goes on and on.....at this point I guess I'm more stupid than when I signed with Allegro because I can't understand why the Attorney Generals of both Alabama and New York and Florida for that matter, haven't pressed criminal charges on him. He could have filed for bankruptcy before the AL AG appointed the receiver, but I feel he waited just to fuck up the receiver and the court system. Look at all the time and work Louis Colley went through for nothing! Nehlms knew this! I think the fees for Louis Colley were supposed to come out of any monies he would have recovered for us, so now Nehlms has screwed him too! If I remember right, he listed the unpaid fees to state of AL and the receiver as part of his personal debts in his bankruptcy case. Check out the Get Out of Debt Guy's website....its horrifying.....all the dirt he's posted on Nehlms in the last year....only I never knew until it was too late! What he stole from me would have paid for my attorney and court fees (and then some) for the fact that I ended up filing for bankruptcy myself SOL!

I thought I was the only one who got scammed by them. February
I thought I was the only one who got scammed by them. February 2009, Claudia Santana with The Credit Exchange assured me more than once that Allegro Law was a reputable firm and they could service my debt accounts even though I was in Florida. Let's see, May 29th, I was served papers to appear in small claims court. Allegro Law customer service was horrible to try and contact, get any answers or help in what to do except I better appear in court. About a week before my court date, I was informed by Allegro's customer service that they were appointed a trustee. WHAT !!!! I stopped paying them then. I lost only $1402.....I see many of you lost much more. Something SHOULD be done with these scam artists. $1402 is not much, but it is when you can't afford it. OK, it's off my chest!
No - read from the beginning of these posts - there are hundreds
No - read from the beginning of these posts - there are hundreds of us - some already litigating - due to Allegro leaving them hang in there and stealing their moneys - I have dropped the debt they took the money for and have not even visited it - had two - pulled one of the just before i heard that these crooks were under receivership - and settled a little over 12 grand - for 5200 - killed myself in five months - but got that one clear - then these crooks wanted us to keep on sending money - of course they did. some had auto withdawals and they are still getting money out of those accounts. We might as well face our debts directly yet once more - as the money these crooks took, will not be recovered and if there was any left, the Colley guy - on the receivership probably helped himself with..... these are scam dogs and one of them is already - under another name - back track a few pages and read - doing the same - so beware
Cancel that bank acct NOW!!!!
Cancel that bank account NOW - otherwise these dogs/crooks will dry you out. They will continue to take your money and will go to their pockets only. The contract with them - if you back and read it - is like paying twice as much as your original debt was - and that when they were on good standing - they have been taken down for a year now - receivership did not do crap - those took whatever was left - if any....so STOP ANY AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS YOU AGREED WITH - IF NEEDED - CANCEL THE BANK ACCT AND OPEN A NEW ONE AND ALLOW NONE OF IT TO THESE SCAMDOGS

Here is what that Louis Colley responded to my email....so consider your case lost....
"Debt management plans will continue so long as the payments to Allegro Law are timely and current. These payments are continuing to be forwarded to creditors on behalf of all clients.
Debt settlement clients will have any available debts settled providing they have enough money in escrow and a reasonable agreement ca be reached. A permanent decision regarding the debt settlement program has not been made. A refund process for escrow funds will be established when it is determined which Court will maintain jurisdiction over this case.
A refund of all fees paid to Allegro Law is not likely since most fees had been paid out prior to the Receivership being established. The Receiver's duties include attempting to locate additional assets to provide at least some measure of refund to clients whose monies have not been used toward payment of creditors.
The telephone numbers you have used in the past should be available for your use. I understand there have been considerable delays but under the circumstances, the call volumes have greatly increased.
I understand the frustration and financial difficulties of each of the clients but due to the current legal situation, a process for claims cannot be established at this time.

I was a client of Allegro up until 5 or 6 months ago. I enrolled in their program, and was with them for about 3 months, when I realized something fishy was going on. I immediately canceled my contract with them (with no refund coming back to me for the $4,000 I had given them, of course!) and did a little research. I found a company who has been great to me, they treat me like a human being, and have already settled 2 of my accounts for 70% savings. Return a call to Claudia Santana on reputation of Allegro
My friend - call that Claudia Santana - if you can find her - and ask where she got her facts about Allegro Law....Allegro Law IS impossible to contact - and if you ever get a hold of them - after hours of ringing them (who has that time, we have to work) - then they will tell you that if you are "not current with your payments" nothing would be done for you. R u kidding me? after a year of these crooks being taken down - due to being scumdogs, we are to keep on sending money? WTF? I did cancel the acct and sent information to the receivership guy - he is in bed with Allegro - I think....

His name, phone # and address are below: Louis Colley, Receiver (334)365-1500 & fax (334) 365-1601 P.O. Box 680840, Prasttville, Alabama 36068 When you call his office his secretary will ask you to fax a brief description of your complaint along with a copy of your contract and a bank statement showing all the payments made to Allegro Law. She will also ask you to mail any additional information pertaining to your case. I called today and she told me that Mr. Colley was in court and that he was going to call me this afternoon. So people, call the Receiver's Office today and give his secreatry your name and fax your information as soon as possible. She told me that even if you have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the BBB you need to get your information to the receiver beacuse all the infarmation you sent will be kept at those offices for their files and future references and will not be sent to the Receiver's Office due to privicy issues. I called Mary M at the Office of the Attorney General and she confirmed that what I was told was true. So again, I can not stress how important it is to call the Receiver's Office and identify yourself as a victim of Allegro Law. Also, if you have not filed a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General in Alabama, call Mary and she will send you a comaplint form along with instructions. But recently a link has been made available on updates to the court proceedings. http://allegrolawclaims.com Make the calls to verify and dont pay anymore money to Allegro Law because they have affiliates that will try to retrieve payment anyway. If you had Allegro Law take money directly out of your bank account, close it because even if you stop payment and keep your bank account, Allegro Law can still access your account. I had some dummy call my house after they were shut down by the courts. He claimed he was from Allegro Law and informed us our account was past due and he wanted it update as soon as possible...I flipped out. I said, "Who the heck do you think you are? You know they have shut them down and my account was closed and all Allegro Laws assets are frozen and you are trying to get more money....you idiot. He said, "Dont take it personnel." I reported his name (Dwight) and phone number to Alabama Attorney General and told Mary mentioned and she said to make sure that the Receivership knew it...She said Allegro Law was trying to recover as much funds as possible before they bit the dust during court proceedings. At any rate. I think we are screwed. I am getting sued left and right...and now way my 9008.00 will be returned...Lord Jesus God help us all and punish these heartless thieves. |

In this case it is against a lawyer and his related professional companies. This suit might lead other debt settlement attorneys to exit the debt settlement business to prevent the loss of their professional license. The suits and actions we are currently seeing against debt settlement companies are just the tip of the iceberg I predict. Here is the official press release from the Alabama Attorney General???s office. The Attorney General???s Office and the Alabama Securities Commission are suing a Prattville attorney and the companies he is operating in what is alleged to be one of the largest debt settlement schemes in the nation involving approximately 15,000 customers and millions of dollars nationwide. Autauga County Circuit Judge Ben Fuller is considering a request to grant a preliminary injunction against defendants Allegro Law LLC, Allegro Financial Services LLC, and Keith Anderson Nelms. This preliminary injunction would prevent the defendants from continuing to engage in deceptive trade practices and to operate without a license. On June 30, the Attorney General???s Office and the Alabama Securities Commission obtained a temporary restraining order against the defendants??? that stopped the defendants??? conduct, appointed a receiver, and froze the defendants??? assets. A preliminary injunction would ensure that those consumer protections will remain in place. Nelms is a resident of Montgomery whose law practice and financial services company are located in Prattville. On its web site, the Allegro law firm offered to negotiate restructured debt plans for clients to pay off its debts, contending that such services provided through an attorney have superior results and are handled in a more ethical and professional manner. The State???s civil complaint alleges that Allegro promoted a risky practice known as debt settlement, in which consumers stop making monthly payments hoping to encourage creditors to write off the debt, reclassify it as less collectible, and agree to settle for a greatly reduced payment. The complaint states that ???defendants are attempting to gain this benefit by purposefully and artificially lowering creditors??? assessments of the quality of the customer debt, thereby inducing creditors to accept less to settle accounts. The consequence of this lowered credit standing is a lower credit rating for the consumer, more fees for the service provider, less money to the creditor, and more overall problems for the consumer.??? Attorney General King said, ???Alabamians who are suffering hardship and distress during these severe financial times must be protected from exploitation and false solutions that may cause even greater harm. We contend that these defendants were operating a massive scheme that reached across our nation and unscrupulously targeted frightened and desperate consumers. With Alabama???s unemployment rate now at a record 25-year high of 9.8 percent, and many of our people struggling through no fault of their own, this is a particularly contemptible violation, and we will not tolerate it.??? Alabama Securities Director Joe Borg said, ???This is a prime example of the cooperative efforts of agencies to protect the public. It is imperative that we require all companies to abide by the law and do not allow them to take advantage of our citizens. In these hard economic times, with resources scarce, the leveraging of our efforts to help consumers is of the utmost importance.??? According to the complaint, Allegro and Nelms have solicited and obtained clients from all 50 states, many of whom made their selection believing they would be represented by a law firm. However, because Nelms is not licensed to practice law in any state other than Alabama, these consumers were deceived. Furthermore, Alabama consumers who believed they were hiring a law firm to represent them were also deceived, because Nelms and Allegro were actually serving merely as a conduit to refer cases that were handled by a third party, AMERICORP, which is not a law firm. In addition to these deceptive practices, Nelms and Allegro were not licensed by the Securities Commission, as required to conduct debt payment services in Alabama. The complaint alleges that defendants have violated the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and the Sale of Checks Act. The Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act is designed to protect consumers by prohibiting business from committing a variety of deceptive practices including engaging in any ???unconscionable, false, misleading, or deceptive act or practice in the conduct of trade or commerce.??? The complaint alleges that the defendants violated the Deceptive Trade Practices Act as a result of various deceptive business practices and various false, misleading, and deceptive representations made to consumers. Under the Sale of Checks Act, any person engaging in a business that receives money as agent for obligors for the purpose of paying such obligors??? bills, invoices, or accounts must obtain a license from the Commission prior to conducting business in Alabama. The complaint alleges that defendants have breached their statutory duty to obtain a license pursuant to the Sale of Checks Act prior to engaging in the debt payment services business from their office. The Attorney General???s Office and the Alabama Securities Commission are seeking a permanent injunction, civil penalties, and other relief. The Alabama Deceptive Trade Practices Act authorizes civil penalties of up to $2,000 for each act or practice found to be in violation of the Act. This is a repost...Go back to page #1 and read everything. By the time the receivership pays for all Allegro Laws employees, advertisements, not going to be much let...God help us please! |

Hi Ali,
I can very much appreciate how everyone is upset with these crooks. I do not in the least bit condone what they have done. However, I must say personally I never had a problem with them. I have a stop payment on my checking account so that no payments will ever be made to Allegro Law(thankfully I was not charged a fee for this).
For the life of me I cannot understand how you people felt that you could stop paying your bills for months and then magically the credit card companies would settle with them for pennies on the dollar. It is not the 1930s anymore and that stuff does not happen. Nothing is for free. You ran up debt and you have to pay for it, the same as I do.
Please do not think I am judging or an advocate for this company because I am not. Everyone has their own reasons for falling into debt, myself included. However, like I said I never had a problem with this company. I will not work with one again because I can afford to make more than the minimum payments on all credit cards now.
I wish you all the best of luck.
Be careful
I have been dealing with them for 1-1/2 years i was supposed to be payed off in 2-1/2 years amd just found out i have 3 more years of paying. Almost 700 a month and now 2 extra years, un-real! Today i recieved calls from two of my creditors that haven't been paid in almost 2 months. How's this helping my credit? It is also a nightmare to try getting a hold of them to try and figure out what's going on. Please be careful and do some research first, i wish i did. There are others out there. Google allegra law, you will see they filed chapter 13 !!!!!

Allegro Law gave me assurances that my credit history would be "fine" allowing them to use "settlements" in paying off my creditors. This was a lie. My credit is shot to h--- at this time. Nor do I have any credit cards left to use including two that I had to give to them because my "debt" was not large enough for them to handle.
At this time Allegro has FAILED TO PAY April's payments and I am receiving notices from the creditors that "I have failed to pay the monthly payment according to my agreement". There was no excuse, as my account has had over $400.00 in it just to cover their automatic withdrawal to make these payments.
Now I am trying to contact them with no success. I am trying to find out just what has happened and why they failed to make the contracted payments. If anyone can help I would be gratefully appreciative.
But just with the experience, after six months to just quit on me I would NOT RECOMMEND Allegro Law Firm to handle my credit. Especially since they gave me no notice as to why this has happened. Also, would not recommend because of the bold faced lies about credit remaining good "if not better".

Hi,
why don't you compare and contrast the different settlement companies, you will definitely get a better idea. All companies have their own pros and cons so, it is difficult to just relate on one particular flaw and make a decision on the selection of a settlement company.

I have been with them for now over a year and have never had any issues. NOW AS OF TODAY they have not taken out my payment that was due on the 24th of the month, and am already getting calls for the creditors. Once before they were late in making the payments due to a computer issue. I hope that there is not a serious issue since the creditors will make us start all over again and what has not been paid by Allegro they will make you pay that amount before they will consider continuing to work with you. Hope someone out there knows what is going on.
