Advanta(ge) Debt

I'm unsure would be interested in hearing the outcome myself.

I expect that they will sell the portfolio off to a third party. Based on some of the other posts around the web some are settling for 50 cents on the dollar so that's what's I'm going to offer. I stopped paying months ago and credit damage or not, I'm going to go for a settlement especially after they rate jacked most everyone up to the 30% range.

I would call 866-833-6398 they could probably get you a settlement for 35 cents on the dollar.

Got contacted by phone by a company saying they were the one to work with on continuing my payment program. I asked to verify who they were in writing via fax or letter. They were polite (of course i am current on the "hardship" program) and said they would send over a fax....havent heard a word in two weeks.

So, not heard from them in two weeks. Are you still going to keep paying them and if yes How??? Don't trust the web site???
