If Debt Settle does not work can you file

I have about 60k in debt, mostly ran things up for a few months when I lost my job, now I have one but almost 1k less amonth, I could probaly save $900 a month , Will I be able to keep from getting sued and get everyone paid

It is hard to say since the strategy to collect debt may vary between the creditors. But you must negotiate with the creditors and show your willingness to solve the debt issues to keep them from suing you.
