I started to do business with FFM, but wasn't very sure because the person that I spoke with (Mimi), spoke too fast and was to excited about saving me money. She wouldn't even give me an address, she just said she was in CA. I called the BBB in Ca and I also went online. I am so glad I didn't do business with these guys. Not only is this ugly business, IT'S CRIMINAL!

Honestly, if you really think that Freedom Financial Management is a scam, go get an education.

1. A company that can afford the millions of dollars for advertising all over the country is not criminal, or they would have been caught by the authorities and shut down.

2. Anyone that has any kind of education knows that your credit card companies have the legal right to sue you for payments if you are one day late. The only reason you think that they are "threatening you" is because they are trying to get their full amount back, but they have a legal department dedicated to accepting settlement offers. They will only actually take you to court if they have no success of contacting you or a company handleing your debt. Obviously if they are in contact with your card companies then you will not be summoned to court. New York Times even wrote an article on this entitled "Bailout."

If you can't afford the debt you aquired, then you probably shouldn't have charged it.
