I don't know if it is the same group, but there was a lady that has called me from Frontier Financial and let me know that they have one of my accounts that has not been paid since the beginning of March and is pursuing to sue me. I have the account in a management program to make payments through another financial company (who originally had it). The original financial company returned the money and mentioned the account went back to the creditor who now has it sitting under a different financial company than where she is at (if this all makes sense). I am in the process of trying to talk with someone at this new financial place the account is under with no phone calls back. What should I do?

If Frontier Financial is claiming that the account is with them at present, then send a written request to them to validate the debt. If they send you a proper debt validation letter within a few days, then you should ask the debt management company to negotiate with the company directly. If you don't receive the DV letter, then you should contact your original creditor regarding this matter.
