GC Services..what a bunch of crooks!

Yes, they have a lot of negative comments in the web. If they had been harassing you, then file complaints against them with the FTC and your local police authorities.

They are not going anywhere....they are a big agency with a lot of governmental accounts. Collections is emotional....people are being asked to do what they dont want or cant do....the CA is just often doing is job. I used to get "complaints" all the time for making demands....I was always respectful and never rude but since I did not let debtors get their own way and made the demands that my client required, it was perceived as being rude. A lot of negative comments are out there..however I often wonder how warrented they are. Yes I know that there are FDCPA violators out there but I have read numerous BBB and FTC complaints...most of them were laughable.
