business getting call on old customer

We are a business that is getting calls from these people. The person they are looking for was a customer of ours that we have not seen in almost 3 years(in fact he owes us money also). They don't seem to understand this and think we are just covering for him. Is there anything we can do to stop these calls? They are interfering with business and I fear that they might get "hostile" to our employees here.
