Help!!! Just got a summons two days ago from Gurstel Chargo regarding my $4200 cc debt with Capital One. I was told they would except a lump sum of 20% less. Is this there starting point? Itold them I could make payment on the full amount....they said no way. My bottom line is $2800. Do they have wiggle room or should I let them take me to court? Any suggestions are welcome!!! Thx

It is really up to then how much they accept. They have already filed against you so unless you pay up what they want, they will get a judgment against you. They are representing Capital One...and Cap One is very aggressive.
