Has anyone did a HELOC debt settlement with Key Bank, if so, what was your experience?

I did a HELOC debt settlement with Key Bank few months back. The

I did a HELOC debt settlement with Key Bank few months back. The officials were pretty co-operative. I had no problem in dealing with them. Though, I don't know whether or not others have similar experience.

I do not have a personal experience of HELOC debt settlement with Key Bank. However, what I can say is that if you have severe financial hardship, the lender may ask you to try out loan modification. If the option of loan modification does not work, then they may consider your request for settlement.

Key Bank Settlement School loan for pilot school

A friend of mine went to pilot school and got in debt over $100,000 with Key Bank. After the person graduated and got hired by airline many pilots got layed off. It was impossible for them to pay their loans , rent, food, gas etc. Key Bank settlement was about $25,000. This prevented chapter 7 bankruptcy. This school loan was not backed up by the government it is considered an alternative loan.
