I have heard of them. I recently searched google and came up with their link. After reading everything and filling in my info they referred me to someone else claiming that they were on a wait-list only basis right now. The person that they referred me to called and spoke with me for over a hour explaining everything about his process. It doesn't really sound bad but it doesn't sound good either. It costs a lot less than Superior Debt and many of these other places that charge their fees upfront, but in the long run it seems that I will essentially pay 3grand for a tutorial on how to do it myself. :( I have not decided anything yet, but my husband and I are defenitely considering settling our accounts on our won. At least I can put the money that I would pay in fees to a third party to use by paying/settling my accounts. Good Luck! Research thoroughly before deciding anything. :)

Hoffman Brinker are by far THE best company to deal with for debt settlement. Mark Brinker is extremely accessible and very knowledgable. One thing that you MUST be able to do is have the funds available to settle. If not, don't bother. This is not a company that you send money to each month (which is very good). You have to get funds upfront from family, friends, delivering pizza's, whatever source you can. COme up with 50% of your debt FIRST. Lock the money away, then begin the process. IT's painful, I won't lie to you. But no valuable lesson comes without some pain. Debt free in 6 months or less is my goal and NEVER will I own a CC again (I have been on TWO vacations in the past 4 months and paid CASH for both - saved up and did extra jobs, sold stuff on eBay to pay). It CAN be done, don't become a slave to the credit card companies EVER again. They are ruthless.
