This is my biggest pain, does anyone have any idea how to make them to cooperate? I had flavor of all kind of CC BoA, chase, disc, amex, wamu, citi, hsbc store card and was able to work through on settlements some still in progress but mostly sattled or trying to wait bit longer to get better %.
But this one is strange no calls, no letters, nothing, they keep adding late/over limit/interest fees and no communication. Every time I call to check what my status is and eventuallu asked what are my options and if settlement is one of them ofcourse explaining why I stop paying and I have no way to pay any longer but I can liquidate some asset and pay one setlement fee they do not want to talk about this. They saying I need to pay all or they will do me favor 85% settlement. These aren't CC those came as checks in mail you can sign and deposite which at that time I needed and did that at the begining it was 2 x $5k but as I was paying on time they increase credit to $12k and $15 so I owe now about $30k
any idea what else I can try? I tried to talk about me filing BK but that did not make any difference rep I was talking to said it's better for them to do charge off then settlement

Unfortunately HSBC will NOT cooperate and will ignore any rquest
Unfortunately HSBC will NOT cooperate and will ignore any rquests for settlement and sue you. Be ready! I hate to preach despair but they ignored all my requests for a plan and I got railroaded by Bray and Lunsford here in Florida on their behalf. They are horrible and I am glad they are closing in the US.

so you telling me that they won't hire CA and won't call at all which I'm experiancing now and at some point sue? by "plan" you meant you tried to schedule full repayment plan with lower interest and that did not work either? so how long it took them to sue you?
