If you cant get your husband to cooperate with settling the debts, you may have to take it on yourself. But dont be in denial that you are responsible too. Otherwise it will continue to hurt your credit as well

If you live in a community property state (and still legally married) and SUED for the CC debt, then you MAY be liable for the debt through a judgment. But, if you are listed as an authorized user only, you are not responsible for the debt through the CC company.
Some CC companies will even tell you that you are not legally responsible for the debt, when you speak to them....I speak from personal experience.
Again, I would immediately contact the CC and remove your name.
