Divorced

I seriously need help. I live in Tn. Just got writ of execution on an acct from a creditor for 20,000.00. My ex and I both went to court over this in 2010. I was paying my share until jan of this yr. he didn't pay anything until his acct was levied for 2600.00. Now this bank acct creditor levied is joint acct because of a car loan I got int he divorce. So the creditor only got 21 cents. Can they get my car? I only owe 580.00 on it and then my ex can sign it over to me. Now the next thing I need would like to know if creditor can levy other accounts ( the ones we have dd in) my husbands dd goes in there too. Will that effect him? I have a good job that I don't want to jeopardize. Do I try to reason with creditor on my own or should I keep my ex liable for the loan as well? Creditor told me that they don't care where they get the money from as long as the get their money. That even though both names r on loan , the loan is solely my responsibility and solely his responsibility. How we duke it out is not their concern. Please help. I don't want to worry. I have a new marriage and want to throw this baggage away. Thanks
