Kohls collections department has the authority to negotiate settlements. Typically 80% at 30 days late. You will do well to get to 50% at 90 days. Letting it go much longer is a gamble as Kohls is quick to pursue judgements. Make sure to get a signed settlement letter (they will do this despite what they say).
