I am a single young adult and I've occured a large amount of debt over the past several months. I had a job that payed bi-weekly and I was struggling to make the minimum monthly payments, but I did...I just sarted a new job and I only get paid once a month due to this situation I've let a few bills (I think almost all) go outstanding!!! The creitors won't let up I have two Visa accounts, one Master Card (and a few store accounts...but I don't think you could help with that) Anyways I don't know what to do...between the late payment fees, intersest rates/finances carges, and increased minimums!!! Please...Please can you set me in the right direction?

I hope the counselor referred by this website will set you in the right track. He will offer you some repayment plans at lower interest rates and get most of the late fees waived off from the total debt. Get all the statements and wait for the counselor to call you. After your agreement, he will start negotiating with the creditors. This is going to be your first move towards a debt free life. Good luck!
