Dismissal of lawsuit because of SOL

If a lawsuit (complaint) is filed on Jan 2, 2008 and the SOL expires before a judge hears the case, can I succeed in asking for a dismissal once the SOL expires and before the Court date?

No but nice try. If legal action is taken before SOL expires then you cant raise SOL as a defence no matter how long it takes to come to trial

What is the SOL on Open Credit (Credit Cards) in the State of Ohio? One website reads 6 years another reads 4 years. Which would be correct in Ohio? Thanks
