I need help settling a credit card it has been turned over to Gamache and Meyers lawyers office. I really don't know where to start or what to tell them. I am getting a small loan to pay it off but don't want them to know that!! :twisted:

It is best to contact them and tell them you would like to settle it by a certain date and make them a settlement offer. This should be done by certified mail as soon as posible. If you wait too long you will be summoned and will have to pay court costs and legal fees on top of the amount you owe.
It's 2,600 it's not that much but I hate it hanging over my head
It's 2,600 it's not that much but I hate it hanging over my head and want a fresh start. What amount should I try to settle for?
