My home was foreclosed on two years ago. I have just found the deed issued when the bank took over the home. There is a check box that says that there were no liens on the property. This document was signed by the bank's attorney. Their statement is not true and the IRS and school loan agencies are coming after the money I owed. Do I have any recourse in getting those leans satisfied by the foreclosure bank?

you might be able to check with your county -- some have websites were you can check if a lien was placed on your property -- I have seen some liens placed from the irs on property -- but not sure if thats a state by state thing --

The IRS and school loans generally do not take you to court....they use administrative wage garnishments. More than likely no lein was placed against the property. Either way you would still owe the debt.
