I have about $40,000 on 5 cards, are there any legit debt settlement firms out there that will actually do something for me besides get me judgments??

Maybe consolidation could be a viable option, also..

A counselor will contact you within a few days. They can point out reputable companies and discuss your options with both settlement and consolidation. You are never under any obligation, and please check out any company you might use with the BBB!

In the meantime, please feel free to ask any quetions you have. we're here to help!

I have graduated from a debt settlement program with the USCA/Roll Law Firm. They did a real good job for me and pretty much had all of the collection calls stopped. At first I was really skeptical for the obvious reasons, but everything worked out fine I enrolled for 2 years and am now debt free. They had a good BBB rating and were a member of the bar association of arizona. They are actually a law firm. Anyway I hope that helps you can check them out at uscaonline the office number to call them is 866-535-3451. Good luck everyone I know how difficult of a decision this can be, it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

WE are just about done with our program with superiordebt.com we were hesitant at first then as we started to build up our settlement funds we received amazing setttlements, they always answer the phone. We have a member service rep who goes up and beyond for us. We are very happy with the progress, as we thought BK was our only way out of the debt.. we are now seeing a light at the end of the tunnel! The calls were very annoying our enrollment person suggested that we change our telephone number and they paid for it... since then the calls have stopped. I cannot say anything bad about our program, we are getting our son enrolled as he got himself in over his head with credit cards from college, that is another story in it self, but for these banks to give an 18 year old kid with a part-time job an 18k credit limit is beyond me. Fell free to contact me and I will be more than happy to share the process of our program.

Wow Ny girl on ur son! My daughters (2 of em) get credit card offers in the mail daily! Somehow i think the univrsity's sell their info to these companies! Luckily, neither have yet to get one! (keeping fingers crossed) I've been VERY open with them about the mess i'm in cuz of credit cards and me and hubby both have good jobs!!
I, like u, am amazed at how much credit they give kids!! :(
