Can a credit card company put a lien on my land and home, or garnish my husbands wages?

Is the credit card in both you and your husband's name? If it's only in yours, then they won't garnish your husband's check, unless you signed a release form for them to do so..If this is a sub-prime credit card you may very well have signed without knowing you did so.
They're not going to place a lien on your home or land..1 credit card is too small of a debt for that, and you would know ahead of time if they were going to do that. They can levvy your bank account, though, if you don't work. Usually this is only allowed if a judgement is unable to be paid for some reason.
Work out payment arrangements with this company. As long as you stick by them you should be fine.

I have been though the credit card threat of lien on property and fell for it hook line and sinker. From what I have learned from many on this site and from our attorney, a credit card company can't place a lien on property for an unsecured credit card. If the card is unsecured, you obvioulsy didn't put up any collateral like your propery.
