The debt that I am in has gotten me to the point where I cannot pay my auto insurance which was cancelled on Saturday. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get out of this mess.

What kind of debt do you have? Is it credit cards, medical, payday loans. If you will provide a little more information, we will be able to help you out a little better.

If your debt are payday loans, please list the following:

What state you are in
Who your loans are with
How much you have borrowed from each
How much you have paid each one
And whether or not these loans are off the internet or storefront.

Hang in there....just provide the information and someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

I have 4 payday total. I am in Michigan. 2 are storefront; Cash connection (I owe 550.00)and a company that just calls themselves "cash advance" ( I owe 400.00. The other 2 are online; Check N'GO and I took out an installment loan for 1200.00 and have paid back 900.00 so far but my wages started being garnished and I missed 2 payments with them so far. The other is with MTE financial for 300.00 however I am confused with the payback process because they debited 4 90.00 payments from me and I could not keep my account open any longer so I closed it. I tried to contact them but they do not have a number where they can be reached however as soon as I missed a payment they were the first ones calling. I am like not anwering any calls becasue between overdraft fees and other bills, I only have like $400.00 left to do anything with. Thanks for responding.

First thing first..take care of the storefront lenders first because they can and will take you to civil court to recoup their money. As for the installment loan, I am not sure how that one should be handled because in most cases it is not considered a pdl. Go to www.paydayloaninfo.org and click on your state to get the laws applicable to you

Hang in there. I felt the same way with my PDL's. But, the number ih ave used for MTE Financial is (800) 992-9482. Their contact information is:
MTE Financial
147 Eubank Blvd NE
Albuquerque, NM 87123.
(866) 859-6129, is another number that is used for them, too.
