I have a few internet loans, and I definitely overpaid on most of them. Does anyone have a suggestion of how I can get my refund? Do you call them directly, or send a letter? What kind of facts do I put in the letter- amount I paid total, the Indiana payday loan code, etc.?
I just want to get this cleared up so I can start my life again! Thank you!

You will need to know the law for your state. We can help you there. Can you list the companies that you are dealing with? You will also need to know how much you have paid each of them? You will then have to apply your state law to these pdl rates and they may agree to refund you. Hard to say, some only mark them as paid in full. You will need to sit down and do the math. I will look for Indiana state law for you.

Hi Jess.

You can get a PDL template letter by doing a google search for pollyandsay's blog. You will need to insert your state laws where indicated on the template as well as other pertinent information as indicated. If you need to find your state laws, you can go to this site:

www.paydayloaninfo.org

Also, report these companies to your Attorney General's office. They may be able to assist you, as well.

Read the contract signed with the loan places and compare it with your state laws. You should be able to figure out that the charges added on your account are disputed, hence claiming for a refund. Notify the attorney general about the company if they don't abide by the laws.
