I am gunna tell u this been there done that and i will say this "dont do a monthly payment""""""" they will screw u in intrest settle for a smaller amount and pay all off or else u will be paying for the rest of ur life..... 45 cents of the monthly payment goes toward the bill while they pile another 10 dollars on top of the monthly payment that u wont find out about till u ask.... I was paying ten a month they sued me for 1400 becuz in the state of ma they cant do anymore in small claims court but within 2 months after the agreement the running total was 2300 they will f*ck you a hundred ways to sunday i swear get the money and settle for less

Also, you say "settle" but then you say "payment plan". A payment plan pays the debt in full. A settlement is a partial payment which satisfies the debt in full.
