Welcome to the Community :D I'm sorry about your accident and job, but glad you are ok! If your creditors won't work with you, you might consider other options you may have, such as consolidation. Since you are registered, someone will contact you and discuss options with you, which you are free to take or not. What kind of payments were you making? The only reason why I ask is because if you had a car loan or credit card, sometimes you have insurance on the account if you are out of work due to an illness or accident. Sometimes you also have insurance if you get laid off. I wouls check to see if you had any of this insurance at the time of your accident. That's one reason why I will pay the extra money on anything for the insurance, because you never know whats gonna happen.

I never used to believe in paying for that credit life/disability insurance till my husband was off work for 8 months due to back surgery. We got SO behind on our house because we didn't have that coverage. If we had, it would have made our payments for all that time!!!!
