I have over 50,000.00 in debt. The bills are becomming unmanageable.Should I file bancruptcy?

Can you afford the minimum payments and are just paying high interest rates ? If so you may want to look into a debt management Plan with a 501(c)3 non-profit credit counseling company. This program will get you one payment with much lower interest rates " usually in the ball park of 6%-10%".

Are you overextended and your bills are either about to be delinquent or already are ? If this is the case than I strongly consider looking into a debt settlement Program. This program will usually get you a payment around half of what your combined minimum payments were. Plus it will get you out of debt fast " usually around 18-36 months " and should be able to settle your debts for around 40%-60% of what you owe. Most importantly it will help you avoid bankruptcy.
