I have received via US Mail several law firm offers to rep. me on behalf of the lawsuit filed against me by Midland. I have not received any info in regards. I do not know who Midland is, nor have I entered into any debt with Midland. What do I need to prepare for?

Check whether or not a case has been filed against you. You can go to the county clerk office and find out whether a case has been filed against you. If a case has really been filed against you by Midland collection agency, then you ought to receive court papers. Are you sure that you haven't received them? You can get help from the law firms if a case has been filed against you by the law firm. Check your credit report to find out if Midland is listed on your credit report.

If you have not entered into debt with Midland, then I don't think Midland has a chance to win the case. But you should always contest it. Otherwise, the judgmnt may go against you.
