A judgement was filed against me in 2007. I know for a fact that the amount is wrong. First I never recieved a court date to appear. So I dont know what to do. I know it is ruining my chances for a mortgage.

How do you know the amount is wrong? Are you taking into account court and legal costs are added as well as your state rate of interest?

Did you receive a summons?? Answer it? The plantiff does not tell you the court date...you have to find it out from the court or online dockets.
So I dont know what to do.
I know it is ruining my chances for a mortgage.
